Reiki can also be done remotely, long-distance. Dr.
Mikao Usui, a Japanese spiritual healer, introduced Reiki to the
world in 1922. It can be considered a Japanese form of Qi Gong or
shamanic healing. Recently, a branch of the Native American Church
has researched the parallels betwen Japanese and North American
shamanic healing and has introduced Nehm Usui Reiki Ryoho.
Coaching helps people identify and achieve personal goals. Life
coaches assist clients by using a variety of tools and techniques,
drawing from many disciplines. Some specialize in business situations,
and prefer the term business coach. Whichever, the coach
helps the client recognize goals, set targets, and tailors a specific
and unique plan for each situation.
